SpringMeade Residence is the result of a unique partnership between Upper Valley Medical Centers and AdCare Health Systems, Inc. Working together, this team of experts in both retirement living and health care bring to SpringMeade a heightened sensitivity to the unique needs and desires of you, our prospective resident.

SpringMeade Residence was created in 1992 on the farm that had been known as "Mon Reposo" (My place of rest). The long tree lined drive led to a stately 16 room main house, structured in the fashion of Spanish Architecture that dated back to 1866. Next to the farmhouse that now serves as the activity center for SpringMeade Residence stands a large bank barn. The estate had one of the first swimming pools in the 1800 to 1900's. As the residents started moving into their Coach Homes they referred to the farmhouse as the "White House at SpringMeade," because of its white exterior and prominence to the community. The farmhouse quickly became too small for the growing community and an elegant addition was added in 1997 and serves as a gathering place for activities and social events.
